NEW COMPUTER!

So I totally almost forgot to update tonight!!!! But the reason is, I bought a new computer today and have been a bit distracted with getting everything set up and i've been illegally reading the Eclipse script lol SHHHH don't tell! But yeah here is my new computer! I got a pretty good deal on it, it's an HP and it is 6GB memory and 500GB memory! I was super excited! YAY for me! No more sharing grandpas computer haha!

Worlds Smallest Snowman!

So it snowed more overnight and it was actually enough to make snowmen! Baby ones, but snowmen none the less! I made a cute little snowman family and put them on our little bench in our flower bed :) I was supposed to have an eye exam today but because of all the ice on the roads my appointment was cancelled so it looks like i've got another week of blindness **le sigh** But I did venture out to Walmart today to get some baking supplies, I was feeling very domestic today! I made a homemade Apple & Pear Crisp from scratch! It was SOOOOOOO good! I think I might make some pumpkin bread tomorrow to take to work on Monday! :D

Snow Day! :)

So I woke up this morning and the ground was covered in ice and snow. I decided I would tough it out and drag my ass to work even though they were gonna close at 3 because of the weather....Most people called out today and I was there for all of 35 minutes before they said we're closing now, there were cars sliding in the parking lot and we had to go a weird way just to get out so we could leave. I took FOREVER to get home because of all the crazy iced over roads. I was excited to not have to work and the thoughts of possibly building MY first snowman that I would remember making were makin me giddy lol. Well I TRIED to make a snow man but it's to cold and the snow is to dry so it won't stick together! :( FAIL!

I love winter anyways! Wish we got more of it! I guess I love it because we don't get ANYTHING like this in Southern California LOL

Gettin that Itch again....

So this was my last addition (industrial) I got it a few months ago and it's been about 4 years since I got a new tattoo...It doesn't sounds that long at least in the piercing department but I am really getting the itch to get something new! I have about 4 or 5 tattoos planned out so far and there are DEFINITELY some more piercings I wanna get! I'm trying to get my next tattoo in the next month or two, I think the next one I am gonna get is a pink lotus on my right wrist. :D but I think I am gonna get my tragus pierced on both ears :D we shall see though!

Taxes!

YAY! I FINALLY got my W-2 from work today! They had originally said it would be available on the 13....ummm yeah, that was 2 freakin weeks ago!!! I am glad however that they finally decided to give them to us! I was about to send the calvary out to locate mine! Glad I didn't have to go that route! So, i'm sending off all my stuff to the tax guy tomorrow! Lets hope I get a lot back and I get it in a timely manner....I have plans for that money! It wont be lasting long lol

Flash Back Tuesday!

So basically I couldn't think of anything fun and interesting to take a picture of today...Sadly I have nothing witty to say...So I have decided to make today FLASHBACK TUESDAY! Soooo here is a picture that is probably a good 8 years old...WOW I look different. But then again I guess we all do after that amount of time. I would like to know where all this time went, I would like some of it back. If you happen to find some of it please send it my way!

While I am on th subject of Tuesday I'll take this opportunity to explain just WHY Tuesday is in fact the WORST day of the week...

Wednesday-EXCITED it's HUMP DAY! Half way there!

Thursday- WOOT WOOT 1 more day!!!!!

Friday- SUPA EXCITED it's gonna be the weekend

Saturday and Sunday- It's a given, these days are AWESOME! NO WORK! DUH!

And Tuesday...Tuesday JUST BLOWS! There is absolutely NOTHING good about Tuesdays! They suck and there is nothing to look forward to! :(

On the bright side, I have lost 9 pounds so far! :)

Oh sweet sleep how I miss thee....

ARRRGGHHH!!! Sleep and I have had a pretty rocky relationship lately…Maybe we should seek counseling….I’ve been having troubole getting to sleep a lot lately. Sometimes I get tired enough to sleep but it’s always at really inconvienient times where I can’t sleep or it’s too early to sleep. Over the past 3 days I think I’ve maybe slept about 12 or 13 hours…Usually once I get to sleep I’m out like a freakin light…it’s just that pesky task of GETTING to that state…..BLAH!

It's a Merlot kinda day...

So last night I had insomnia to the freakin MAX! I was sooooo wide awake I CLEANED my room did laundry listened a ton of music but sleep was not my friend. I was still up at 7AM when I decided I was just staying up for the day because if I went to sleep then I'd NEVER get to sleep tonight....well I fell asleep around 10 and got up at 1 so I got about 3 hours...Today was pretty much a lazy day which most of my Sundays are, i usually reserve Sunday for LAZYNESS! We all need a little lazy in our life dontcha think?! Anyways we had some family over for dinner tonight and it was really nice, Grandma and I broke out the bottle of Merlot and drank the bottle LOL we had a nice long chat just her and I sitting in the kitchen. I love those moments! Anyways besides my general lack of sleep it was a really nice day! :D

All dressed up and nowhere to go...

So today did not go according to plan....I got up when I wanted to but did not have the motivation to get out of the house...I finally left at like 2pm and went out to NLR to run my errands. First stop was success vision to get my eyes checked and get some glasses so I don't have to walk around like the blind idiot that I am...Well the Dr. was gone for the day. EARLY! GAH! Wish I could do that...so I thought WHATEVER i'll just go to Lenscrafters and spend a bit more to get it done today, well one of their people called out so I had to schedule an appointment for tomorrow...But I think I'm gonna cancel and just go to success next weekend...Then I went and got my nails done which was actually great they look freaking AWESOME! I was supposed to go out tonight with a bunch of girls from work to this place downtown called On The Rocks but it started raining and everyone bailed...I guess they were afraid they were going to melt? Who knows....SO I was kinda annoyed I didn't get to go out, I was looking forward to that....But hey! I got a new necklace today! That AWESOME mustache comb! haha! LOVE IT!

NEW BEDDING!

So i've been eying this bedspread at Target for a while annnnnnd I FINALLY GOT IT!!! Isn't it cute!!! :D As soon as I got home I HAAAAD to make my bed! I made it in like RECORD time hahaha! Anyways the one side is zebra (obviously) and the other side is pink leopard! LOL I dunno but I am really excited about this new bedspread LOL but its's cooler than the bamboo one that was on there before! :D YAY!

RAWR!

So first of all, today was like the longest day EVER! I don't know what was wrong with me today but I was soooo agitated ALL day! I just wanted to sucker punch someone in the junk so bad! Today was filled with stupid people asking stupid questions about stupid things they THEY CAN DO THEMSELVES! The only thing good about today was my work out and my dinner. LOL I've been on this big fish kick lately! MMMM Talapia and broccoli...Thank god tomorrow is Friday! Let's hope it's a better day!

Global Warming at it's Finest....

So I took this pic a few weeks ago but oh well, it looked like this today...So we are 3 weeks into January and our weather here is freakin WEIRD...No seriously, I think it's bipolar....maybe we should get Arkansas some Lithium....But yeah, in the past 3 weeks we have experienced: FLOODS, Rain, Temperatures below 10 degrees, SNOW, sunny 65 degree weather, and the latest...TORNADO warnings with lots of rain, thunder, and lightening! Seriously it's like they rolled every season and shoved it into 3 weeks of January!

NEW SOCKS!

So when I finally made it to work and sat down I realized....I forgot to pack my socks for the gym! UGH I was so annoyed! I ended up running into Walgreens before heading to the gym. I needed new socks anyways, AND they had PINK toed socks! YAY! LOL Ahhh the little things in life that make us happy...haha! So thats it for my super duper exciting sock adventure! ;)

While everyone else was at home....

So while pretty much everyone else had today off, I was at work....BLAH! I HAVE A DREAM, and that DREAM is to have more days off....We were actually pretty busy and my desk got a bit messy....don't worry it's clean now! Work went my super fast up until lunch, I decided to go out with my friend Stephanie for lunch. We went to Zaxbys and I got this really yummy salad! After lunch I thought the day would never end! I was just ready to get to the gym, since I didn't get to go on Saturday. Had a really awesome work out! Gonna be there tomorrow! Sorry, today was pretty uneventful. I'll try for a more interesting picture tomorrow....

MMMM SPAGHETTI!

So today was kind of a lazy day...Got up at almost 1 PM and didn't do much beyond that...Cleaned the kitchen, did some laundry, and we had my FAVORITE dinner! SPAGHETTI! Doesn't it looks DELICIOUS! Now i'm enjoying th Golden Globes! AWWW I LOVE AWARDS SEASON! However watching these things make me cry and I realize how much I become more and more like my mother everyday.... LOL

Red Cross=FAIL!

So I went to the red cross to donate blood today and their website said they were open until 5pm so I went at 3PM....well when my friends and I got there, there was a sign on the door saying they were CLOSED!!! They changed their hours and were only open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday! UGH! They fail so hardcore for NOT updating their website! It sucks, I was excited and by the time we found out the OTHER place was already closed....ahhhhh! Here's a picture of my arm where the blood WOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM! RED CROSS YOU FAIL!

THE RAVE!

SO tonight I went to the movies, much like any Friday night...Yes I know it's expensive but it's like one of my favorite forms of entertainment!! Tonight I saw "Up In The Air" but I had to go to the theater in Little Rock since it wasn't playing where I normally go and I had been waiting since it came out! Definitely worth the drive out there, and I LOVE this theater...reminds me of home. :) GO SEE UP IN THE AIR! :D

Workin on Mah Fitness...

So i've been workin on mah fitness at the gym 4x a week lately....Tonight...KICKED MY ASS! But I feel good! Gotta thank my girl Krystal for helping me stay motivated and pushing me! We gotta push each other girl! LOL See ya at the gym 0n Monday! YAY for free memberships! Thanks work! ;)

I do pink line foe you!

So I got my nails done over the weekend! I'm kinda in love with my black tips and pink line! My good friend Stephanie's boyfriend did them for me! I had told my friend I was thinking about it but wasn't sure because I know how much he doesn't like doing it. Well when I went I asked and he said "I do pink line foe you, I vas gonna do it even if you didn't ask" LOL Stephanie told him about it....But I was happy because I LOVE THEM!!! Also I love having friends who give you discounts! :D

Bookshelf!

So I got a new bookshelf last week and FINALLY put it together over the weekend! I did it ALL BY MYSELF! I was pretty proud, only had one angry moment where I yelled obscenities lol. The top shelf....ALL BOOKS I NEED TO READ....like I said before...SLACKING!!! Y0ou can't even see the OTHER bookshelf I have around that corner lol...I guess i'm like my grandma...Book nerd! Oh and I am taking all that empty space as an invitation to buy more books!!! hehehe ;)

I ate Jaclyn's food!!!

So a night or two a week we have my cousin Gage over night. I usually get home around 9:45 and eat dinner, Gage likes to sit in front of me and have me feed him my food. Well he was here tonight and he of course was eating my food and he kept running around the house yelling "I ATE JACLYN'S FOOD" it was the cutest/funniest thing! He's going through a phase where he doesn't want his picture taken so I had to force this one lol...I think it's cute! :D

FREEEEEZING

So it's been SUPER cold here! Which I LOOOOVE! But when I say cold...I MEAN FREEZING... LITERALLY! Last Thursday night it was 12 degrees and with the wind chill it was a whopping ZERO!!!! The lake in our backyard is frozen over....I do miss the snow though....It only last a few days :(

Ohhhh the Irony...

So I was at Barnes N Noble tonight and I came across this book and it just made me laugh..."Shoo, Jimmy Choo! The Modern Girls Guide to Spending Less and Saving More" So basically in order to spend less and save more I need to spend more on this book to know how to do it right....OH THE IRONY! I LOVE IRONY SO MUCH! :D hehe

PS...It might be a few days before I update, see below post for reason....but I will take my picture everyday so you may see a few days worth of posts the next time I do one...FYI

Broken Computers **sigh**

So my computer has been broken for a few months and I have been using my grandpas...on Friday it CRASHED grrrr....so my lack of update wasn't just me being lazy...My picture is of of the desk where the computer SHOULD be! Now it is at best buy gettin a TUNE UP! :D lets hope for a speedy recovery for my sanities sake...

Slump....

so this is my stack of books on my dresser that I have been neglecting....Last year I read 40 books and I am gonna try and read 50 this year...so far i've read a big fat ZERO!!! I'm just in one of my reading slumps where books just aren't holding my interest right now...I hope I get out of it soon, I need to get back on the ball....There are 9 books there right now and the sad thing is...I have 2 more on my desk at work...BLAH! STOOPID SLUMP!

DEAD PHONE!

So I went to the gym tonight and all was well with my phone but when I g0t in the car it wouldn't let me press any buttons and then the battery died! When I finally got it on the charger the phone wont even turn on now and the buttons aren't registering when you push them!!! I've even tried taking out the battery....UGH! I don't know what i'm gonna do! I rely on my phone SOOOOO MUCH! Alarm clock, phone, email, internet usage at work, and so much more! RAWR!!!!! I HATE YOU DEAD PHONE BE ALIVE AGAIN!

Team Lift!

So this picture only took me 6 tries to upload! Anyways! Today was PAY DAY! YAY!! Got my bills paid EW! So i've been wanting to get a new book shelf for a while now and I my friend had told me about this one she got at Walmart for $30! Since today was pay day it was also grocery day at walmart and since I just HAPPENED to be there I picked up the shelf i've been wanting! Thanks to my secret santa at work I only paid $10 for it! :D The box was pretty big and I tried to get it but it was sooo darn heavy, luckily I had Fiona with me and I was like I think we're gonna have to do this together. I turned the box on its side and saw the team lift sticker....I found it HIGHLY amusing for some reason....ENJOY!

Time....

SO when I woke up this morning I was super tired because I only got 4 hours of sleep...YAY FOR INSOMNIA! But there was snow EVERYWHERE and it was STILL snowing big fluffy flakes! I was HOPING today would be a good day...HA! I had to work an additional 2 hours MANDATORY over time at work AND they cut our hour lunch breaks down to 30 minutes! Usually on these days I am ok with the over time and time goes by super fast...well today was NOT like that! It was SOOOO busy, busier than I have ever seen it and time was crawling by at snails pace! LONGEST DAY EVER AND the snow melted! UGH! At least it's supposed to snow more this week...Here's to hoping today doesn't set the tone for the rest of the week...

It FINALLY snowed!!

So this afternoon I was sitting at the computer and my I hear my grandma say "Jaclyn, it's snowing outside" I immediately jumped out of the chair ran to my room threw on my angels hoodie and the first shoes I could find...I ended up outside in leggings, an Angels hoodie, 1 black house shoe, and 1 leopard flat...My room looked like a tornado hit it from looking for a hoodie and shoes that matched LOL. I am going to say it snowed because I threatened the weatherman yesterday LOL. It's been snowing about 4 hours now and it is sticking...let hope it keeps snowing and keeps sticking. **crosses fingers**

Where's my snow?

So we've had floods and 20 degree weather....but still no snow....Is a little bit of snow or ice too much to ask for?! The weatherman keeps teasing me too, talking about the possibility of snow for a few weeks now...I see NO snow weatherman! The weatherman better watch his back! >:[

So today was NEW YEARS! As I do every year on the first I had my share of black eyed peas! I guess it's a southern thing to have black eyed peas on New Years day, it's supposed to bring luck and prosperity throughout the year and I could sure use some.
