SO I posted this pic for my sister :D LOL she likes rob too! Reconnecting with my dad and my sister has been great! It's crazy how much you can have in common with someone you've never met! When I talk to my sister it's like I've known her for years! It's awesome and I am so glad she found me. I can't wait to meet my other sister, she's only 7 but I'm sure she's just as awesome! ;) I can't wait to meet my dad and my niece and everyone! I foresee this as being the best summer of my life so far ;)

I BOUGHT A CAR!!!!!!

So today I went car shopping, and I wasn't expecting to actually BUY a car. I was thinking I was just going to test drive a bunch of stuff and then go back next weekend and purchase. I ended up going to toyota and test drove the corolla. I really liked it and ended up buying one. I got a 2010 Toyota Corolla sport, it's so pretty and it's black on the inside and I have a place to plug my ipod in!!!! WIN! I got a good deal on it and I am REALLY happy with it!! LOVE IT!! Can't wait to drive it more tomorrow :D

Lost...and found....

So today was the most surreal day of my life! My long lost sister found me on myspace which was crazy enough but on the same night we reconnected with our father....it was definitely a weird night. I kept thinking at any moment Ashton Kutchar was going to come running in and tell me I was being punked....and at that I would have sucker punched him in the junk. All in all it was a good night. surreal....but good...

And again...

Once again I have nothing of importance to say...My new job is keeping me SUPER busy and I've been pretty drained lately. Gotta get up early tomorrow but I've been told i'm not allowed to complain about it since I am going to pick up money from my attorney from my settlement..but whatever! BOO!!! Gotta go car shopping this weekend...EK! 35 days until I leave for CA! I MISS YOU!!! that is all...

YAY!

So today was another BUSY day just as anticipated. Lots of emails, questions, and meetings. I hate getting gas BLAH! I had to get gas after work tonight and I almost forgot LOL. I would have had to stop in the morning. BAHAHAH! Yeah right! I was a little bummed this morning when Grandma told me Gage wouldn't be here tonight. But I was super excited when he WAS here when I got home! He is so dang cute and I had fun playing ball with him tonight! :D

BUSY!

So today I moved into my new desk. It was a VERY busy day!!! I am still kind of doing my old job while attempting to do and learn my new job....It was a super crazy day and i'm sure the rest of the week will end up this way....TIRED!

Rainy Day! :D

So it rained a lot today which is cool, I do love the rain! :D I went to the movies and saw Shutter Island....my advice...WAIT FOR DVD! I didn't really care for it! BLEH! Oh well, some people liked it, some people didn't...I usually stay home and have a lazy Sunday but since I didn't and I actually left the house I wore my new chucks! :D Oh and I went to Walmart, oh joy!

Tomorrow is Monday which means work which means BOOOO!!! Have a great week everyone! :D

Red Bull..helps you not kill people

So because I got promoted at work I had to go to a leadership meeting at 8:30 today! UGH! 8:30 on a SATURDAY?!? It really was kind of a good meeting though, very insightful even on 3 hours of sleep. After that I went to lunch, hung out with some friends, went to the mall and went home. I got some new chucks which I haven't had in awhile since I had to get rid of my old ones a long time ago lol. Fun exciting day! :D

The sky is the limit!

SO about a week and a half ago at work there was a job posting for a supervisor position in my old department, and a bunch of people had told me I should apply for it. I went ahead and applied for it along with about 11 other people. Knowing who else was applying for it I thought I had absolutely NO CHANCE in getting it. But I had nothing to lose, so I applied anyways. I didn't really tell anyone that I applied for it because I didn't think i was going to get it so I thought it really didn't matter. I came into work today and I was actually a few minutes late because I overslept and I got called in to the Operations officer's office and he offered ME the job!! I was so freakin shocked it's not even funny!!! So yeah, the day I was late to work I get a MAJOR promotion with a nice hefty raise ;)

Plane Ticket....OBTAINED!

Thursday! YAY! That means tomorrow is Friday! WOOT!! Today was busy at work, lots of meetings and such. The day kind of dragged but it's over now and Tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!! The best thing about today? I bought my plane ticket to go to California for a visit on April 2nd!! I will officially be there Friday April 2nd at 11:55PM! :D I'm soooo excited! :D

New curtains....wooooo

So yeah Wednesday! WOOT! Hump day!!! Only 2 more days until the weekend! :D Work today was work...as usual....when i got off I ran to walmart...Got some new curtains because i got a new bedspread a few weeks ago and my curtains were green and did NOT go with my bedspread. So I finally got some black ones and they have a lining so i am hoping they help block out the sun in the morning! That's all for today kids...I'll try and be more entertaining next time....blah!

Yeah....it's Tuesday...

So yeah, It's Tuesday....I hate Tuesday's....No matter what week it is I am generally always in a craptacular mood on Tuesday...We were really busy at work today and I think that is because a lot of people thought we were closed for Presidents Day yesterday....WE WERE NOT! UGH! :/ Oh well today was a pretty uneventful boring day...On to hump day! ;)

Just another Manic Monday....wish it was Sunday...

So yeah, it was Monday....No one likes those...BOO! I had a pretty bad headache most of the day. Today surprisingly went by fast and then towards the end slowed up a bit because I was anxious to get off work. Most of the snow is melted and gone but there are random piles in parking lots. This Pile was in the parking lot at my office and from a far it looked like a whale fin in the ice and I laughed really hard for some reason and felt compelled to take a picture of it. LOL.. Don't judge! haha

Another one bites the dust.....

Happy Valentines Day! I guess lol! I kinda forgot it was valentines day! Today was my typical Sunday. I stayed home. I didn't really do anything though. I watched Whip it and took a shower...LOL My friend Tricia came over and we went to dinner at Mi Ranchito then came back here and watched I love You, Man! I LOVE THAT MOVIE!

I've been meaning to color my hair now for like 3 weeks...this color has been sitting on my bookshelf for like a month and I still haven't done it.... *sigh* maybe next weekend...we shall see! Another week bites the dust...one week closer to April and my visit to CA! Oh well, Have a good week lovlies! :D

Today I went to Panera Bread for lunch with some friends. I swear I am obsessed with that place right now. It's soo good. We sat at Panera for like 2 hours talking and having a good time, then we went out to Park Plaza Mall in Little Rock so we could go to Sephora...I ended up doing Mary and Amanda's make up while we were there lol they looked really hawt :) Went to Barnes N Noble had some coffee and then headed on over to Target. It was so busy in there! Lots of last minute Valentines Day shoppers! I got a bag to carry my computer in...yeah I have a thing for animal prints...I just can't help myself lol

Popcorn Free Purse...

So Today went by pretty fast which was nice, work wasn't cancelled like everyone thought it was going to be. Seems like the snow had enough of our area and skipped us when it came back for round two on Thursday night. After work I went to the movies and saw Law Abiding Citizen. It was a good movie, the beginning was a little graphic and ugh made me wanna be sick but all in all it was a good movie...Oh and even though SEXY Gerard Butler was on the screen and I STILL text in the movie lol there was no popcorn in my purse this time LOL

Sweatshirt kind of day....

So I had to work 8-5 today to cover for a girl who works in the morning since she had an appointment today. So if you know me and if you're reading this i'm sure that you do, you understand that I am NOT a morning person in any way shape or form...I was not looking forward to having to get up early but I'll do it for a friend especially since I don't have to do it everyday. Well when i set my alarm I set it for PM instead of AM soooooo I was late! BLAH! Other than that the day went by relatively fast which was nice. We were supposed to get some more snow tonight and possibly tomorrow but as of now there is none which means work tomorrow YAY!! <---insert sarcasm here. Ahh well, at least it's Friday! :) That is all for now! Go have a drink and enjoy yourself now! ;)

So it was back to work for me today and after being closed over the weekend and then Monday AND Tuesday we were SUPER busy! Looks like we might be getting more snow tomorrow night and Friday too. But luckily the day went by really fast! :D After work I had to stop and get some medicine for Gage, poor baby had a fever and was throwing up. Well I got some Triaminic because I couldn't find any regular children's Tylenol. Well when I got home the poor thing threw up all over the floor, I cleaned him up and changed him. When we went to give him the medicine it said not recommended for children under 4 UGH! So off to google I went! They said it was ok in a smaller dosage. So he got his medicine and I held him for a bit then he laid down and went to sleep. Makes your <3 hurt when kids are sick.

Laundry Day YAY!

SO I was at home again today because of the snow. I should be able to go back to work tomorrow which will be good because I don't get paid for these snow days that I love so much :( So since I was stuck at home again I decided it was LAUNDRY DAY! YAY! Other than that I really didn't do much LOL

All I did today was sleep, watch tv, laundry, paroozed the interwebs, and read a bit. Apparently we're supposed to get more snow Thursday and Friday...or maybe it's just Friday...I can't remember LOL but yeah if all this snow doesn't melt we may have another snow day...We shall see!

Monday blues turn sunny.....er....SNOWY!

So I woke up today and my front yard was covered in snow. Work was cancelled, they were open for a bit in the morning but I called in because it was only getting worse...I'm glad I called in because 30 minutes after I would have gotten there, they closed for the day AND they had to get a tractor to help pull cars out of the parking lot!! HA! I would have been pissed if I drove 30 minutes down there only to work 30 minutes and be sent home, but not before having a damn tractor pull my car out of the driveway! GEZ! I spent the day frolicking in the snow, making demonic snowmen, and cleaning my room....Tomorrow looks like it's gonna be about the same as there is about a foot of snow in the driveway and we're getting more! :D YAY FOR SNOW DAYS!

SUPER FAIL!

So today was the super bowl...Actually I think it's still going on...I spent the day in my PJ's as I tend to do MOST Sundays. I spent the super bowl watching Twilight and paroozing the internet....I really need to clean my room though, it looks as if a bomb has exploded in here and the pile of laundry has been sitting there for a few days...I guess I should hang it up....eh, maybe later. Ugh I'm really annoyed as well, my top part of my industrial piercing is getting infected out of nowhere for no apparent reason! So i've been puttin peroxide on it....Hopefully it will get better!

Oh well, off to avoid cleaning my room ;)

Errands!

So today was full of errands! I got up early for my follow up appointment for my contacts. Then I was off! First stop was the mall to get my nails done but my normal guy was busy so I decided to go another time, while I was there I picked up a belated birthday present for a friend ;) then went off for lunch at Panera one of my FAVORITE places to eat! YUM! Then I was off to little rock to the big mall so I could go to my FAVORITE store! SEPHORA! Got a few things I was out of and of course something new lol. Later that night I had dinner with a friend we went to Old Chicago! YUMMEH! All in all in was a fun day! :D

Rollercoaster!

So I woke up with a fun little head ache....GAH! Went to work and thought it was gonna be a bad day! BUT 1 phone call from my attorney MADE MY FREAKIN DAY! I was in such a good mood for the rest of the day! I'm getting WAY more than we expected out of my settlement, hopefully I can get a car in the next couple of weeks :D Maybe a civic? who knows! But i'm excited!

Went to the movies after work and saw Dear John...disappointed...I didn't even get to cry! Well at the beginning I was sending a message about how freaking HAWT Gerard Butler was in the previews and all that popcorn fell out of my lap and into my purse on the floor....Yeah I was pretty annoyed...Pretty sure there's still some in there :( **sigh**

Sorreh.....

So yeah I forgot to post on Thursday...sorreh...I've been pretty unmotivated the past few days. I haven't gone to the gym all week and I feel guilty about it. I am SOOOO starting back on Monday!! Apparently I feel asleep with my phone in my bed and it called a few people in the middle of the night....if you were one of those people I'm sorry!!!

So today started out really good. I was in a good mood for most of the day and work wasn't that bad and went by pretty fast. But somewhere around 7:30PM I began coming down from my good mood. I have no idea why, just did. I was really unmotivated and didn't go to the gym. I was really kinda missing Cali tonight...**sigh** I'll be there in April! Can't wait! Just one of those days ya come home and have a beer! Thanks to mah girls who chatted me up tonight! You made it better! :D

YAY For Book Releases

So I read the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series last year By Laurell K. Hamilton which was 17 books long and I read them all in like 35 days! :D It was really good and just so you know in case you decide you want to read this series the latter books get a little smutty which doesn't bother me at all but you've been forewarned. Anyways the 18th book Flirt came out today! Very exciting AND the next one comes out in June! :D I'm hoping to read this book tomorrow! It will officially be my first book of 2010 which kinda FAILS for me and puts me behind on my goal but i'm not out of my book slump yet and am hoping LKH can pull me from this dark abyss!

I CAN SEE FOR MILES AND MILES AND MILES!

So today I woke up with the WORST head ache EVER! OMG! So I decided to call out from work because I knew it would make it a million times worse if I went in today. Since my eye appointment was cancelled on Saturday due to the LOVELY weather that I know I asked for I decided to go today. I figured my general lack of the first sense we have was definitely contributing to the pain I was experiencing. So I went today and had my eyes checked and got 2 pairs of glasses and a trial pair of contacts super cheap! They told me that legally I shouldn't be driving without my glasses...ooopps! I guess I was more blind than I thought....Anyways these are my favorite of the two pair of glasses I got. Of course, they're pink lol. The other pair are just general black framed glasses. Also I am surprisingly liking the contacts WAAAAAY more than I had thought I would...I can see SO much more now LOL no more squinting at the TV or signs while driving for me! :D
